The questions we're asked most. Anything else — lodge a general enquiry and we'll answer it directly.
What does “servicing included in the rate” cover?
Scheduled servicing and maintenance for every hired asset, for the life of the hire — organised, managed and paid for by EHS. You don’t hold separate maintenance contracts and you don’t receive separate workshop invoices for that servicing. Wear parts are not included: tyres, GET (ground engaging tools) and other consumable wear items sit outside the included servicing and are handled separately.
What is Minespec?
Minespec refers to the fit-out and compliance standard mining sites require of vehicles and equipment before they can operate on site — typically covering safety systems, ROPS, communications, beacons, signage and site-specific requirements. Every EHS asset is built to Minespec, your own specification, or both.
Can equipment be customised to our own site specification?
Yes — that’s the core of what we do. We scope each asset against your site requirements before it’s built, so it arrives ready for induction rather than needing modification on site.
Can assets carry our company branding?
Yes — client logos, asset numbers and fleet livery are applied before delivery, at no extra step on your side. Every hired unit arrives presenting as part of your own fleet, matched to your existing assets and professional against your company on site.
Can you organise IVMS systems and dashboards?
Yes. We can organise IVMS (in-vehicle monitoring systems) and reporting dashboards for hired assets through trusted third-party providers — fitted before delivery and configured to your site’s requirements. Tell us what your operation needs to track and we’ll scope it into the hire.
Where do you operate?
Australia-wide. Assets are delivered to your operation wherever it is, with documentation in order and ready to work.
How long can we hire for?
Hire periods are customised to your project. Contracts run from a minimum of 12–24 months through to multi-year operations — tell us the job and we’ll structure the term around it.
How do we lodge a new hire request?
Use the Request button on any page, or the Client Portal, and choose New Hire. Tell us the category, quantity, site and specification — we’ll come back to you within one business day to scope it properly.
We’re an existing client — how do we book servicing?
Lodge a Servicing request through the Request button or the Client Portal with the asset ID and a description of the issue, and flag the urgency. Routine servicing is already scheduled as part of your hire; the request flow is there for anything between services or if an asset is down.
What happens if a hired asset breaks down?
Contact us through a Servicing request marked urgent, or by phone. Keeping the asset fit for work is our responsibility under the hire — we’ll get it sorted.
